“THE SACRIFICE THAT KEEPS GIVING”

As we meditate in all the preaching of the last words expressed by Jesus on the Cross of Calvary let us continue to remember that this sacrifice was the perfect gift to humanity. Not only did God provided a way to save humanity from the ligaments of sin but also restore humanity completely. The first Adam failed (Genesis 3:1-13) but them we see a promise in v.15 And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel. (John 14:6) Jesus said to him, “I am the way the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. (2 Corinthians 5:17) Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature, old things have passed away; behold all things have been made new. That sacrifice keeps on giving love, mercy, forgiveness, sanctification, purification, holiness, consecration etc. Jesus is the gift that keeps giving, his sacrifice still saves lives from sin and restores lives. Jesus is in the business of restoring families, marriages, lost lives, people chained by spiritual bondage. Jesus did it all for you and me, because He had us in mind. He did not look for an easy way out, instead he gave his life willingly for our redemption. No other human being in the entire universe could have ever paid in full the debt, only Jesus! May we continue to focus on the main reason why the church is still here on earth to save souls. For in due time we will meet our Savior in the air (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18).
