Often, we do not realize we fail at many things because we overlook or do not set our priorities straight. Setting our priorities straight requires discipline on our behalf. Since we as human being like to do, or engage in so many things, it is imperative for us to set our priorities straight only then can we enjoy the full benefits of what we seek in life. The Bible states that wherever your heart, in other words, what things you hold dearly to your heart (Matthew6:19-21). Let us take look at some verses we find in the Bible but first let us define the word priority. According to dictionary.com it has several meanings, but these are the one we will use. PRIORITY means:
· The right to precede others in order, rank, privilege, etc., precedence.
· Something given special attention.
· Highest or higher in importance, rank, privilege, etc.: a priority task.

PONIENDO NUESTRAS PRIORIDADES EN SU SITIO
Muy a menudo pensamos que fallamos en muchas cosas debido a que no tenemos nuestras prioridades en el lugar correcto. Poniendo nuestras prioridades requiere disciplina de nuestra parte. Debido a que somos seres humanos que nos gusta hacer o estar en muchas cosas, es de sumas importancia que pongamos nuestras prioridades en su sitio, solo entonces podremos disfrutar de los beneficios completos que buscamos en la vida. La Biblia nos informa que donde quiera que este nuestro corazón, en otras palabras, las cosas que guardamos cerca de nuestro corazón (Mateo 6:19-21). Veamos algunos versos de la Biblia, pero antes vamos a definir la palabra prioridad. De acuerdo con dictionary.com, hay varios significados para la palabra, pero usaremos las siguientes. PRIORIDAD significa:
· El derecho de proceder a otros en orden, rango o privilegio, etc. precedencia.
· Algo que se le da atención especial.
· Alto o de importancia más alta, rango, privilegio etc.: una tarea de prioridad.
