LOVE vs. HATE

When we talk about Love, we mean the love that one should have for others. Love is a wonderful feeling towards others, love your brothers and sisters in Christ with a brotherly and sisterly love. Paul says it better 1 Corinthians Chapter 13 one of my favorites is (v.4-7) Love suffers long and is kind: love does not envy; love does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. According to Nelson Study Bible on the word focus love, in the New Testament took on a special meaning. It is a self-sacrificial love, a kind naturally expressed by God but not so easily by men and women. (1 Peter 4:8) And above all things have fervent love for one another, for love will cover a multitude of sins. Jesus gave us a new commandment (John 13:35) By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another. The Bible informs us that if we do not have love for one another, we are not of God… (1 John 4:7-11, 16). It is because of Love that Jesus gave himself for us, none of us no matter how good we think we are could be saved only through the blood of the Lamb who paid the ultimate price for our salvation (John 3:16, Romans 5:8; 8: 38-39). Hate is such a strong word, the total opposite of love. Nothing good ever comes out of hate. Hate can turn a loving person into a hateful person. Hate begins to grow in the heart, and it completely take over. If one is not careful you can be harboring hate in your heart toward your brother or sister. As Christian there simply is no room in our heart for hate. Hate separates people from each other while love brings unity. To hate someone is to think they are dead already in your heart. Hate brings so many problems in our society. Hate does not come from God but from Satan (John 10:10) The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. Many things can happen in this world we live in, and often people are hurt by others but holding on to hate will never resolve any problems only make them worst. Let us come before God with a clean heart and leave the rest up to him. Read (Psalm 139:23-24; Jeremiah 17:9-10). Life is too short let us enjoy it and learn to love one another!

Amor vs. Odiar
